Best Dressed: Screen Actors Guild Awards 2012

There is no rest for the wicked as the award season goes into another round for the 18th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards which took place this last Sunday at the Shrine Exposition Center in Los Angeles.
Find Stacy Keibler, wearing a delicate hand corded lace fishtail gown by Marchesa, Julia Stiles showed off in Monique Lhuillier, Tilda Swinton mixed it up a little in a marvellous flowing custom made Lanvin,   Mila Kunis, my personal favourite - in an amaaaaazing water coloured gown by Alexander McQueen and Natalie Portman, nicely understated in Giambattista Valli while Viola Davis stunned in another amazing creation my Marchesa.

Best Dressed: Golden Globes 2012

Please apologise that I have not gotten around to posting this a little earlier, I've been a very busy bee and always working. Work, work, work and no play for nina is not good :( ... Anyhow...

Being very honest, I feel somewhat disappointed with the outcome of some of the outfits this year, some of the dresses seemed rather boring, dull and frumpy almost. Now of course that won’t spoil our evening and you can always count on the usual individuals to make it up.

Take Charlize Theron for example, making it down the red carpet in another magnificent Dior Couture gown. Reese Witherspoon, striking in Zac Posen, Dianna Agron stuns in a laser stencil cut gown by Giles, Jessica Biel in the always amazing Elie Saab (my personal favourite), Sarah Hyland in Dolce & Gabbana and Salma Hayek in a beautiful strapless black and gold number by Gucci.

Red Carpet Ou La La's #1

I have been wanting to post this dress for ages now and only just rediscovered it while doing the Ready to Wear Spring 2012 report. Yes there are mixed throughts out there as we have all seen on E's Fashion Police (I do love Joan Rivers, she's just too funny) but I just cannot deny that I am completely in love with this dress. The handywork of the lace pattern and the cut off are absolutely to die for and Gwyneth certainly is one who can pull this look off.

Both my thumbs up for this one, what do you think?

Wuhoo or Bohoo?
