Best Dressed: Golden Globes 2012

Please apologise that I have not gotten around to posting this a little earlier, I've been a very busy bee and always working. Work, work, work and no play for nina is not good :( ... Anyhow...

Being very honest, I feel somewhat disappointed with the outcome of some of the outfits this year, some of the dresses seemed rather boring, dull and frumpy almost. Now of course that won’t spoil our evening and you can always count on the usual individuals to make it up.

Take Charlize Theron for example, making it down the red carpet in another magnificent Dior Couture gown. Reese Witherspoon, striking in Zac Posen, Dianna Agron stuns in a laser stencil cut gown by Giles, Jessica Biel in the always amazing Elie Saab (my personal favourite), Sarah Hyland in Dolce & Gabbana and Salma Hayek in a beautiful strapless black and gold number by Gucci.

Going Au Naturel

I am not particularly much of a "health freak" – I don’t think anyone would actually think of that word in connection to me but even I cannot resist something if it has such good reviews – Organic Virgin Coconut Oil is what I have discovered this week. After reading various reviews online I simply had to get a tub and try out for myself.

It’s of firm consistence in the tub but once you go to take it out it literally melts in your hand. It actually feels nice for it being oil; it absorbs fast and of course smells delicious!

Last night I put a first layer on just before bedtime – after thoroughly cleansing and exfoliating first. So far I am really impressed, my skin is glowing, very smooth and looks totally flawless. I shall keep you posted! x

Oops I did it again

It seems that it is simply impossible for me to walk in and out of a Whistles Branch without adding a few more items to my wardrobe each and every time. I’m actually starting to feel a little bit bad and guilty of spending all my money on things that could be very well used for, say rent or bills etc… ;P

Buuuuut (!) Please have a look at this beauty. A timeless navy blue, a wonderful cut and right on trend striking leather detailing! All in one coat! I found it so hard to find a coat with leather applications that doesn’t cost a fortune and at the same time doesn’t look cheap and/or tacky.  This is it, ladies; let me introduce the “Belinda” Sailor Coat by Whistles.

It has been out for some time and – super bonus – has actually gone into sale now. There are not very many left in the shops, so if you feel my pain, go run and make this everlasting beauty your own!

It is now £130 down from £275  x
